    Step 6 prep: Before asking Morukai for components, collect the four ingredients first —
    acid gland, unfertilized eggs, double-terminated quartz, and cave roots.
    Morukai takes all four at once and gives you the magical quartz rod and basalt key.

    Golden egg: obtained by killing the dark phoenix in the Volcano (step 10) — not from Morukai directly.

Phase 3 Recover the Golden Egg

Also works as touch rod to barrier or touch rod barrier. The rod is consumed and the barrier falls, opening the north passage into the catacombs beyond. The haunting spirit here responds to ask spirit Orfeo if needed.

Phase 4 The Lake of Fire

The basalt key (from Morukai) opens the door from Lava Fields into the Lake of Fire. The golden egg is consumed on use; you receive the phoenix feather and experience.
