Overview

Eastern martial arts class that fights through animal-form Ki techniques. Wears cloth robes, wields staves, and channels power through a progression of "Way of the..." spells rather than standard melee. Has innate Dodge, Stealth, and Crit bonuses. Unlocks shapeshifting Forms at higher levels.

Getting Started

Your core spells are NOT learned through training — you must find two teachers in Newhaven:

First, go to the Newhaven Spell Shop (Map 1, Room 2144, NPC Rayth). Way of the Swan and Way of the Owl are sold there as codex scrolls — buy them with list/buy then use the codex to learn the spell.

Then visit Meia in the Curio Shop (Map 1, Room 332). Typing list shows her general store inventory — to learn your Ways, say ask meia kai. She teaches Way of the Tiger, Cat, Rat, Boar, Dragon, Monkey, Mantis, Tortoise, and Bear all at once.

Spell Progression

Early (Lv 1–11)	Meia — Curio Shop, Map 1/332	ask meia kai	Teaches 9 Ways at once. Also grab Swan + Owl codices from Rayth at Spell Shop (Map 1/2144).
Mid (Lv 31+)	Jorah — Blue Tower Bottom Floor, Map 1/2327	ask jorah kai	Way of the Cobra, Hypnotic Hands, Exploding Fist, Pressure Points, Way of the Troll, Hand of Death. Jorah will direct you to seek out Kuel in the jungle afterward.
Advanced (Lv 51+)	Kuel — Earthen Catacombs, Meditation Chamber, Map 16/2667	ask kuel secrets	The 5 animal Forms (Dragon, Crane, Gorilla, Monkey, Viper), Purify, Way of the Jaguar, Way of the Sliph.
Expert (Lv 101+)	Kai Master — Silvery Shrine, Map 6/1566	ask kai kai	Way of the Dove, Lion, Trolloc, Enigma, Way of the Puritan, Greater Pressure Points, Ritual of Regeneration. Do NOT attack him — he is extremely powerful.
Endgame	Rylten the Serene — Crystal Forest, Beast Shrine, Map 18/782	learn from Rylten	Mystical Fury (Lv 25). Mystical Focus comes from equipping the Sensei's Cloak dropped by Rylten.
